About Annika

Annika has nutrition experience in a wide array of nutrition areas, allowing her to connect with compassion and curiosity to help her patients achieve a healthy lifestyle that they feel content and confident about. As well as conducting individual nutrition counseling sessions, Annika has taught, and designed group nutrition classes for patients and nutrition staff, served as a worksite wellness coordinator, and written nutrition articles. She believes in meeting each individual where they are in their nutrition journey and helping them to be the healthiest version of themselves. No two people or nutrition plans are alike.

Approach to care

Annika’s approach to care is compassionate and client centered. This means she asks a lot of questions about your health, background, preferences, and habits, and works with you to devise a nutrition plan that is realistic and sustainable. This plan is different for everyone. Nutrition counseling takes place in a no-judgment zone. The focus is on how one can be healthier moving forward and overcoming hurdles along the way.

Your first session with Annika

Annika will start by discussing your medical history, nutrition goals and concerns, lifestyle, challenges and what has motivated you to seek nutrition counseling. With all this in mind she helps clients construct short-term and long-term goals and strategies and guides them in making healthy changes they feel confident about.
