About April

Hi, I’m April! I help people cut through the noise of fad diets and conflicting advice so you can finally feel confident about your food choices. I’ve worked with everyone from Border Patrol Special Forces, the Navy, and Olympic athletes, to ultramarathoners and CrossFit competitors. But my greatest joy comes from helping everyday people - busy parents, professionals, and anyone who wants to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their body. Whether your goal is improving blood sugars, getting off the diet hamster wheel, or dialing in your fueling for training, I’ll meet you where you’re at. My approach is straightforward: no gimmicks, no shame, no “good” vs. “bad” foods - just simple, sustainable strategies that fit your lifestyle.

Approach to care

I believe nutrition should make your life easier, not harder. I don’t do rigid rules, “good vs. bad” food lists, or unrealistic plans you can’t stick with. Instead, I focus on helping you fuel your body in a way that supports your health, training, and daily energy - while still leaving room for the foods you love. I’ll work with you to create a plan that’s practical, personalized, and built around your goals. You’ll get clear guidance without judgment, encouragement without fluff, and strategies that you can actually apply in your everyday life.

Your first session with April

Your first session is all about you - your goals, your challenges, and what you want out of working together. We’ll talk about your health history, daily routines, and training (if you’re an athlete), as well as what’s worked or not worked for you in the past. From there, I’ll give you realistic next steps you can start right away, along with a roadmap for longer-term progress. You can expect me to be direct but supportive. I’ll give you the “why” behind recommendations so you’re not just following rules - you’re building skills and confidence to make nutrition easier long term.
