About April
I'm a Registered Dietitian dedicated to helping individuals improve their health through evidence-based nutrition strategies. I believe in working with patient to set realistic, achievable goals that promote long-term success. Together we will focus on creating sustainable lifestyle changes tailored to your individual needs.
Approach to care
My approach to care as a dietitian is led by compassion and empathy, creating a safe space where patients feel heard and valued. I prioritize a patient-centered method that respects each individuals unique experience, preferences, and goals. Flexibility is key, which allows me to adapt strategies that fit with the person's lifestyle.
Your first session with April
During the first session, you can expect a supportive and collaborative conversation focused on getting to know you, including your motivations, challenges, preferences, and lifestyle habits. I will complete a thorough assessment that includes your past medical history, long-term goals, and current eating patterns. This helps to create a personalized, evidence-based plan that aligns with your unique needs. The session lasts approximately 60 minutes in order to build a strong foundation for your nutrition journey.
