About Araceli
My name is Araceli, and I'm a Bilingual Dietitian (English/Spanish). Since 2014, I've been working in various settings, including acute care, post-acute care, long-term care facilities, behavioral health, and private practice, with diverse populations ranging from young adults to older adults, and most recently, with children.
Approach to care
My approach to dietetic care is rooted in patient-centered, evidence-based practice, utilizing the systematic Nutrition Care Process (ADIME) to guide individualized plans. I work with clients to identify manageable changes by incorporating familiar cultural dishes, adjusting portion sizes for their budget, or finding ways to enjoy social gatherings. This collaborative, empowering model fosters trust and promotes self-efficacy, transforming clinical recommendations into meaningful, achievable lifestyle improvements that truly enhance their quality of life.
Your first session with Araceli
During our first session, I would like to know more about your daily activities, medical history, eating habits, focusing on building rapport and understanding what are your needs and what you are expecting from this new path. I will be here for you and with you in this new journey.
