About Arati

I’m Arati (Ar-th-ee), a registered dietitian with a passion for supportive, inclusive, and realistic nutrition care. Originally from North Carolina and now based in Texas, I bring 3+ years experience from both an eating disorder treatment center and an outpatient counseling setting. I specialize in mental health nutrition, metabolic health, and lifestyle and culinary nutrition. I use evidence-based nutrition as the foundation of my work, with a practical, real-life approach. My goal is to help you build a flexible, sustainable relationship with food—one that honors your body, culture, and experiences while supporting both your physical and mental well-being.

Approach to care

Nutrition is personal, and so is my approach. I use evidence-based guidance through a real-life lens, honoring your body, culture, and experiences. I consider the gut-brain connection and your individual needs, focusing on practical strategies that fit your day-to-day life. My goal is to help you feel confident, balanced, and empowered while building a flexible, sustainable relationship with food—without judgment or rigid rules.

Your first session with Arati

Your first session is a conversation-style assessment designed to get to know you, your goals, and your relationship with food. Nothing here is meant to be intimidating. We’ll review information such as medical history, lifestyle, eating patterns, cultural traditions, and any challenges you face. Together, we’ll work on understanding what has/hasn't worked in the past, identifying your goals, and creating a practical roadmap to support your health and well-being.
