About Ariel
As a registered dietitian, I'm passionate about helping people build a healthy, peaceful relationship with food. I've worked in clinical settings with patients managing medical conditions like diabetes, celiac disease, and digestive issues, and I also support people navigating emotional eating, disordered eating patterns, or simply wanting to feel better in their bodies. I know how confusing and overwhelming nutrition can feel, and I'm here to help you figure out what actually works for you. I focus on meeting you where you are, without judgment, and guiding you toward habits that are realistic, sustainable, and fit your life. My goal is to support you on your journey to finding balance, clarity, and freedom in your health choices.
Approach to care
My approach is calm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I use intuitive eating principles, a weight-neutral philosophy, and gentle structure to help you make meaningful changes without obsession, restriction, or shame. I focus on how you're feeling along the way rather than chasing perfect numbers. I'm not here to hand you a rigid plan or tell you what you "should" be doing. Instead, we will figure out what actually works for your routines, preferences, challenges, and goals. Together, we will build habits that feel supportive instead of overwhelming. I offer accountability in a way that feels encouraging and flexible, not punishing or strict. What sets my style apart is that I look at the whole picture β your relationship with food, your stressors, your energy, your environment, your symptoms, and what makes nutrition feel hard or confusing. I'll help you understand what your body is telling you and how to respond with confidence and self-trust.
Your first session with Ariel
Your first session with me is all about getting to know you, your goals, challenges, history, and what you want to feel different in your day-to-day life. There's no pressure to impress me or prepare anything perfectly. I want you to come as you are. We'll talk through what's been getting in your way, what matters most to you, and what a successful outcome would feel like. From there, we'll create a realistic and personalized plan. By the end of your first session, you'll walk away with a sense of clarity, next steps that feel achievable, and reassurance that you are not in this alone. My hope is that you leave feeling lighter, more understood, and genuinely hopeful about what's possible.
