About Arielle Brea
I have been a Dietitian for over 5 years and am very passionate about ensuring everyone has access to nutrition & food information that can help improve and uplift their health and overall well-being. Food is required for survival, but linked to culture and identity. My main focus while working together is to positively align these two factors for you to achieve your intended health goals. I have worked with several demographics, from ages 13 to over 90 years old, and specialize in weight management through support with meal planning, mindful eating, and personalized goal setting.
Approach to care
I like to approach nutritional counseling with a mindfulness perspective and motivational technique, as food impacts several systems within the body and empowerment in these areas can be vital throughout all of the life stages. Because food can be linked with emotions, spirituality and more, it is important to examine various aspects while looking at one's relationship with food to determine the best way to help them thrive.
Your first session with Arielle Brea
We will begin with an introductory chat to begin to get to know you by discussing your medical history, food preferences, eating styles, and more. This is considered your very own Comprehensive Nutrition Assessment! From there, weβll develop your individualized plan to focus on during our collaboration on your health journey. This session is the "opener" for setting your short and long-term goals and determining areas where nutrition education or support would be most beneficial for you. This will give us a chance to "break the ice", so you feel comfortable in the future sharing the times where you feel you struggled, but of course, also celebrating when you felt you achieved success!
