About Arturo
Nutrition pulled me toward both science and people. After earning my MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Fresno State, I began working as an RD in hospital settings, where translating research into clear, realistic plans became my focus. In my year of practice I enjoy baking, reading new studies, and resetting on the tennis court. I aim to help you build sustainable habits that fit your life, not temporary fixes.
Approach to care
Grounding care in current research helps us make safe, effective choices together. I combine evidence-based protocols with warm, nonjudgmental listening so you'll understand the why behind each recommendation. We'll set direct, achievable steps and track progress in ways that matter to you, focusing on behaviors rather than weight. By addressing sleep, stress, mealtime patterns, and knowledge gaps, I help patients build long-term, sustainable change.
Your first session with Arturo
Expect a relaxed, comprehensive conversation where we'll dive into your relationship with food, routines, and health concerns. We will create a practical meal plan together and choose short-term goals that feel manageable. There is no pressure to have everything figured out beforehand. I'll explain evidence-based options, answer your questions, and give clear next steps so you leave feeling supported and ready to move forward.
