About Ashleigh

I’m a millennial mom and registered dietitian with over 10 years experience supporting people in building healthier relationships with food and their bodies without shame, restriction, or quick-fixes. At the core of everything I do are two simple beliefs: health is personal and care works best when it is relational rather than transactional. I hold a master’s degree in nutrition with a counseling emphasis. While training and credentials matter, what truly guides my work is respect for your lived experience. Food and health are shaped by culture, family, stress, trauma, and season of life, especially for parents caring for others while trying to care for themselves. As a mother, I know how easily health can fall to the bottom of the list. As an RD, I've seen what becomes possible when people feel supported instead of judged. My role is not to "fix" you or hand you rigid rules, but to partner with you in building habits that fit your values, your body, and your real life.

Approach to care

My approach is weight inclusive, trauma informed, and person centered. I don't begin with assumptions, numbers, or rigid plans, instead I begin with you: your history, goals, challenges, and what feels realistic right now. I blend evidence based nutrition education alongside therapeutic counseling to support sustainable change. We focus on health supportive behaviors rather than weight as the primary outcome, because this leads to better long term health, trust, and consistency. Nutrition care is a collaborative partnership, not a top down prescription. You are the expert on your life. I bring clinical expertise, structure, and guidance, and together we create an approach that fits into your real world. This work is especially supportive for those burned out by dieting or conflicting advice and seeking ongoing care without judgment or perfectionism. My goal is to help you build confidence, skills, and self trust so you can care for your health long after our work together ends.

Your first session with Ashleigh

Your first session is about connection and clarity. We’ll start by getting to know one other. I’ll ask about your relationship with food, past experiences, what feels hard, and what prompted you to reach out now. There’s no expectation to have the “right” answers. This is a judgment-free space. Together, we’ll identify what feels most important to focus on. That might be blood sugar support, improving energy, navigating health conditions without dieting, feeding yourself or your family with less stress, or feeling safer around food. We’ll talk through how nutrition fits into your life, NOT how your life needs to fit into a plan. You can expect guidance tailored to you, collaborative goal-setting that feels realistic, and plenty of space to ask questions. You’ll leave your first session with next steps and a roadmap for what we could work toward. Most importantly, you’ll know whether this feels like the kind of supportive, ongoing guidance you’ve been looking for.
