About Ashley

I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with my Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences with a focus on nutrition in 2008 and also graduated with my Masters in Family and Consumer Sciences with a focus in nutrition in 2009. I then completed a 7 month internship. I have been a licensed, registered dietitian since 2010. I am a mom to two beautiful girls, 10 and 7 years old. I am also a dog mom.

Approach to care

My approach to care is meeting you as the patient where you are in your wellness journey. I take a patient centered care approach in which I involve you in your wellness decisions as well as realistic goal setting. I also believe in an interdisciplinary team approach. I feel meeting the patient where they are at is most important by listening to what you desire your outcomes to be and what you want your health for.

Your first session with Ashley

In your first session, you will get to know me to see if I will be a good fit for your care and I hope to get to know you better. You may expect to be asked what you want your health for and what that looks like for you as the patient, your motivation level to make lifestyle changes, assessing your knowledge about nutrition, food recall and orientation to healthy eating. I know this can be an exciting yet scary step but I am here to coach you along the way!
