About Ashley

Hi, I'm Ashley, Registered Dietitian! For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate their health journeys with empathy, education, and evidence-based guidance. My work is rooted in the belief that sustainable change starts with understanding — not just the science of nutrition, but the full picture of a person’s life. I specialize in using motivational interviewing to support people in making meaningful behavior changes that improve chronic conditions, lower A1c levels, support weight management goals, and cultivate a positive, lasting relationship with food. My approach is personalized and compassionate. I consider the physical, emotional, cultural, and societal factors that shape each person’s experience. Whether you’re working to expand your nutritional variety, overcome health barriers, or simply feel more at peace with your eating habits, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Approach to care

I'm committed to creating a safe, judgment-free space rooted in weight-inclusive care and Health at Every Size (HAES). I support individuals in building a healthy relationship with food through intuitive and mindful eating practices. Together, we’ll explore and repair eating patterns that no longer serve your physical or mental well-being. I also use foundational food psychology to help create a positive and safe eating environment. I understand that sharing thoughts and habits around food can feel intimidating—but I truly mean it when I say ā€œno judgment.ā€ Nothing you share will surprise me in a negative way. Change takes time, and I’m honored to support you in that journey. My approach is to listen, reflect with compassion, and help you build on what you're already doing well. Together, we’ll work toward small, meaningful changes that feel realistic and empowering.

Your first session with Ashley

Our first session together is a valuable opportunity to get to know each other, review your health history, and begin building a personalized plan to help you reach your goals. If available, we’ll also go over any recent lab values. We’ll discuss your typical eating patterns and explore any concerns you may have around over- or undereating. Together, we’ll address current challenges, recognize any progress you've already made, and identify areas where you’d like additional support. We’ll set a few small, achievable goals to help track your progress—goals you can see and feel. From there, we can schedule future appointments as needed for continued education, support, accountability, and to celebrate your success along the way. I’m looking forward to working with you!
