About Ashley
I grew up in the Bay Area and am lucky to continue to call California home! As a dancer, I have always had a passion for fitness and fueling for my sport. I completed a Bachelors in Psychology with minors in Nutrition and Dance from Chapman University where I really developed a passion for the relationship between mental health, exercise, and nutrition. This inspired me to pursue a Masters of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics and the University of California, Berkeley and had the opportunity to complete my Clinical training at UCSF Health. In my free time I love to be active in the community by teaching group fitness and dance, trying new coffee shops, and finding new hobbies with friends!
Approach to care
I take a non diet approach to help you find balance and a healthy relationship with food while achieving your goals. I am all about meeting you where you are at and providing you the skills necessary to feel confident in your decisions around food and your health journey. I aim to find a balance of giving you structure, support, and encouragement while still providing accountability. Since everyone is unique, I strive to get to know you so that I can tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. Whether you're looking for support in general health or something more specialized like sports nutrition, healing your relationship with food, or medical nutrition therapy, I am ready to help guide you throughout your journey.
Your first session with Ashley
Session one is all about you! My goal is to get to know you, your lifestyle, and your goals. It will be a mix of casual conversation and structured questions so that I can learn how to best support you! I hope to cultivate a comfortable and collaborative space where we can develop a realistic plan that meets your needs.
