About Ashley

Ashley uses her extensive knowledge of nutrition along with her passion for helping people to empower and guide clients on their health journey. Ashley’s background in the hospital setting allows her to provide personal nutrition advice to various clients with a range of concerns. Beyond professional pursuits, Ashley finds happiness in spending time with her family, relaxing on the beach, and exercising. Her professional career began as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Still, Ashley aspired to further her reach and graduated from the University of Alabama with an undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition. She is currently completing her master’s degree at UA as well.

Approach to care

Ashley prioritizes personalization as an approach for each client; there is no one-size-fits-all in her book. Ashley’s focus is creating sustainable, holistic, realistic routines to ensure a happy and healthy life. In doing this, she always focuses on science-based nutrition education and counseling while prioritizing individual needs.

Your first session with Ashley

In your first session with Ashley, her main priority is to get to know you! She will ask you questions about yourself, past health and nutrition experiences, long-term goals, and what your are expectations for sessions. Ashley understands discussing your relationship with food can be challenging and wishes to provide a safe and productive space to explore and shape that relationship. Each session will conclude with collaboratively developing short-term goals to achieve long-term goals and setting follow-ups.
