Patient reviews
“Ashley has assisted me in gaining a better relationship with food, making better choices, and reminding me of the importance of moving my body more each day. With two sessions so far, I'm meeting the goals we set and looking forward to making those changes for a healthier life. Additionally, she has assisted in setting realistic, non-demanding goals. “

About Ashley
Hello, my name is Ashley Knight, and I’m a Registered Dietitian and educator who loves helping people understand food in a way that feels simple, meaningful, and doable. I believe everyone deserves to feel confident in the kitchen and to have a healthy, positive relationship with the way they eat. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutrition and Dietetics from Alabama A&M University. For the past four years, I’ve taught nutrition to high school students, an experience that has strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to connect with people at any stage of their wellness journey.
Approach to care
My approach centers on education, encouragement, and practical guidance. I combine hands-on learning with strong nutrition education to help individuals build both knowledge and real-life skills. Whether we’re exploring ingredients, discussing eating habits, or breaking down nutrition concepts, I focus on making information clear, approachable, and tailored to your needs. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. My goal is to empower you and not to overwhelm you, so that you can make confident, sustainable choices that fit your lifestyle.
Your first session with Ashley
During your first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another. I’ll ask about your goals, your daily routines, and any challenges you’ve noticed when it comes to food, eating habits, and any other lifestyle behaviors. This is a judgment-free space, and there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to start, just an honest conversation about where you are and where you want to go. We’ll work together to create a plan that feels realistic and manageable for you. You can expect clear guidance, practical tips, and a supportive atmosphere that helps you feel confident moving forward. My focus is always on helping you build healthy habits that last, at a pace that feels comfortable and encouraging.
