About Ashley
Iâm Ash Langston, MS, RDN, LDN, and I aim to help people create a healthier relationship with food, without restrictive diets or âquick fixes.â My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized, designed to honor your unique needs, culture, and goals. I believe nutrition should fit your real life, not the other way around. I work with clients of all backgrounds and life stages, offering affirming care for LGBTQ+ folk, neurodivergent individuals, and adolescents. Whether youâre navigating weight concerns, emotional eating, digestive issues, chronic conditions, or simply want to feel more confident and at peace with food, Iâm here to support you every step of the way.
Approach to care
My approach blends evidence-based nutrition with real-life strategies that work for your unique circumstances. I meet you where you are, whether that means starting small with daily habits, troubleshooting challenges together, or helping you explore your relationship with food in a deeper way. I believe that lasting change comes from curiosity, compassion, and flexibility, not rigid rules or guilt. My role is to provide guidance, tools, and encouragement so you can make informed choices and feel confident in your ability to care for yourself. Every plan is personalized, adaptable, and designed to fit into your life, not the other way around.
Your first session with Ashley
Our first session is all about getting to know you: your health history, lifestyle, goals, and the challenges youâre facing. I ask thoughtful questions to better understand your relationship with food, your daily routines, and what success looks like for you. Weâll work together to create a starting plan that feels realistic and supportive, not overwhelming. At the end of our session, youâll leave with clear next steps, a sense of direction, and the reassurance that this is a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.
Education
I hold a Master of Science in Nutrition from Winthrop University, completed alongside a supervised Dietetic Internship that provided hands-on experience in hospitals, community programs, and foodservice settings. I also earned a Bachelorâs degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of North Florida, and have an and an Associateâs degree in Culinary Arts from ECPI's Culinary Institute of Virginia
Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy crocheting, spending time with my family, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and trying new foods. These activities keep me inspired, balanced, and connected to the joy that comes from nourishing both body and mind.
