About Ashley
My passion for nutrition began many years ago when my Dad had his heart attack. I dove head first into learning how nutrition can benefit our health and our lives. I was so excited to learn I could actually make a career out of helping people learn about the role nutrition plays in disease management and prevention. I have worked in a variety of roles as a registered dietitian including health education for children, nutrition for cancer survivors, and both inpatient and outpatient nutrition care for a variety of conditions.
Approach to care
I believe every single person has a nutrition journey that is unique to them. Every session is individualized, meaning you decide what you want to focus on and your personal goals. Whether that be disease management, prevention, or improving your overall relationship with food, I am here to guide you. I believe food is truly medicine, and I am excited to work with you on your personal journey!
Your first session with Ashley
The first question I will ask you during our first session together is, "What do you want to leave this session knowing/understanding?" I want to make sure that by the time our session is over, we have accomplished your goal. I understand that everyone has different circumstances, so it is very important to me to understand your nutrition goals and how your life impacts those goals.
