About Ashley
Hi! I'm Ashley, a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I have been working as dietitian for 5 years in the outpatient setting and have experience educating on a variety of nutrition related concerns such as weight loss, weight gain, cardiac disease, and diabetes.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in balance and flexibility. I believe that all food can fit within a nourishing lifestyle, and I encourage clients to develop a healthy relationship with food. I emphasize the importance of tuning into the body's natural cues of hunger, fullness, and satisfaction. My goal is to help individuals find a sustainable way of eating that supports both physical health and the joy of eating.
Your first session with Ashley
During our first session together, we'll take some time to explore your current eating patterns and physical activity habits. I’ll ask you to share a brief recall of what you typically eat and describe your usual exercise routine. We’ll also talk about any challenges you may face when it comes to regular physical activity or meal preparation, so I can better understand how to support you. If you’ve tried to lose weight in the past, we’ll review what worked well and what didn’t, as well as clarify your goals and expectations for this appointment. As time allows, we’ll begin identifying small, realistic changes that feel manageable for you.

I attended Louisiana State University.
