About Ashley

Hi, I’m Ashley Tweddle, MS, RD, LDN! I'm a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping individuals heal from chronic gut issues, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune conditions while finding more freedom with food. If you’re struggling with low energy, digestive discomfort, food sensitivities, or feeling overwhelmed by restrictive diets, I’m here to support you. I specialize in working with individuals who want to find lasting relief of symptoms like bloating, IBS, IBD, reflux, low energy, SIBO, and hormonal imbalances. My ideal clients are those who are ready to ditch long-term restriction and fad diets, uncover the root causes of their symptoms, and embrace a more balanced, sustainable approach to health. Whether you’re new to exploring functional nutrition or have tried everything and still feel stuck, I meet you where you are and guide you toward lasting change.

Approach to care

My approach is holistic, functional, and compassionate. I blend intuitive eating with evidence-based functional nutrition to support gut and hormone health while helping you reconnect with your body’s cues. We’ll address root causes like microbiome imbalances and nutrient deficiencies, and create sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle. I also incorporate mindfulness and stress reduction to support healing. Having overcome disordered eating, gut issues, and autoimmune disease myself, I deeply understand the confusion and frustration that can come with health struggles. I draw from both personal experience and clinical expertise—shaped by advanced training and years as a hospital dietitian—to offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel heard and empowered on your path to long-term wellness.

Your first session with Ashley

In our first session together, my goal is to really get to know you. We'll take a deep dive into your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and any past experiences you’ve had with nutrition or medical care. I want to understand your short-term needs and long-term goals so we can create a personalized care plan that feels both supportive and sustainable. Together, we’ll map out what our work together will look like—including how often we’ll meet, what topics we’ll focus on, and how I can best support you on your journey toward better health.
