About Ashley
Ashley Vazquez is a non-diet certified eating disorder registered dietitian and IAEDP approved consultant working to help individuals with eating disorders, disordered eating, negative body image, and chronic dieting, improve their relationship with food since 2012. Ashley has experience working with individuals in a variety of care settings (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient) and previously worked as Director of Nutrition services at National treatment center. Ashley completed her Master's Degree in nutrition science and Dietetic Internship through Boston University.
Approach to care
Ashley's goal in working with clients is to help them find freedom from food and achieve optimal health. Ashley approaches her care without judgment and with tremendous empathy. Ashley believes the importance in understanding the stages of change and truly meeting an individual where they are and supporting their readiness to change. Ashley believes that small, achievable, and sustainable goals are the key to long term success.
Your first session with Ashley
During you first session, Ashley will spend time getting to know more about you and your relationship with food and your body. This will include a full assessment where Ashley will gather information regarding your medical and nutrition history and you present concerns. Ashley also likes to discuss specific goals that you may be interested in working towards along with coming up with a plan for meeting those goals.
