About Ashley
Ashley Wing (RD, CDCES) is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist with 17 years of experience working with hospitalized patients, in critical care nutrition and in working with outpatients with a large variety of disease states and health concerns. She works with patients on developing individualized plans to improve their health and achieve their goals in a sustainable manner. She is passionate about helping others and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Approach to care
Ashley is a positive person who is supportive, empathetic and caring and will meet you where you are at, without judgement, to develop and individualized nutrition plan. She is an excellent listener that will put you at ease and loves working with people one on one. She focuses on sustainable changes and has enjoyed many successes with those that she has worked with in the past.
Your first session with Ashley
During your first session, she will take the time to listen to you and find out what your health concerns and goals are. She will get your past medical history and background to help tailor the session to your specific needs. Together you will discuss ways to start working towards your health goals and she likes to end her sessions with setting short-term, sustainable, time-based and measurable goals.
