About Ashlynn

Five years as a Registered Dietitian taught me that nutrition counseling works best when science meets real life. I earned a BS from Michigan State University and currently practice as a Neurology Pediatric RDN in Detroit, Michigan. My career has spanned hospital clinical care, outpatient care, private practice, and nutrition work in marketing, which helps me blend evidence with practical strategies. Outside of appointments you might find me in a Pilates or yoga class, cooking, running, or horseback riding. I prioritize patient-centered care and sustainable plans that support your mental, physical, and emotional health -- On and off your plate :)

Approach to care

I ground recommendations in current research, then translate that evidence into clear, practical steps we can actually use. I work from a weight-neutral perspective, focusing on behaviors, wellbeing, and long-term habits rather than numbers on a scale. We'll work together in a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, and I’ll offer direct, actionable goals while teaching the skills you need to maintain progress. The goal is lasting change that fits your life, not a temporary fix.

Your first session with Ashlynn

We'll spend our time getting to know your medical history, daily routines, and what matters most to you. I want to understand your wins and frustrations so we can set one or two short-term goals that feel manageable. This is a low-pressure conversation, and you don't need to have everything figured out beforehand. By the end of the visit we'll have clear next steps and practical strategies to try, together, that respect your mental, emotional, and physical health.
