About Ashlynn
Ashlynn became a Registered Dietitian in 2020, though first became curious about nutrition during her time as a college heptathlete in 2012. She learned to troubleshoot with her own nutrition habits as an athlete, but also while managing Hashimoto's and Lupus. She is knowledgeable about food intolerances, autoimmune conditions, women's health concerns (PCOS, menopause), and weight management. In her dietetics career, she started with the Veteran's Administration Health Care System before deciding to specialize in obesity & weight management. She has experience in helping to manage the nutritional demands of clients on GLP-1 and similar weight loss medications. She is ready to take on new clients and help with motivation and creative ways to achieve and maintain health goals.
Approach to care
Ashlynn is passionate about preventive care and supporting those who wish to improve all aspects of their health/wellness. She takes the time to get to know her clients and curate a nutrition plan that can seamlessly integrate into their current lifestyle and schedule. She is great at targeting where to keep habits consistent, versus where to make small, but impactful, changes.
Your first session with Ashlynn
You can anticipate a thorough discussion of current nutrition and lifestyle habits. We always end the session by setting SMART goals and assess these each visit as part of monitoring progress. You will always leave the first session with tools targeting your goals.
