About Audrey
Audrey is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for instilling confidence in her patients through nutrition and exercise. She received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition & Dietetics at Auburn University and went on to complete her dietetic internship at The Ohio State University. Prior to Nourish, she worked in a holistic primary care office where she gained experience in sports nutrition, hormone health, metabolic disease, and healthy aging. She has extensive experience working with DEXA body composition and bone density scans, VO2max, and resting metabolic rate testing. Outside of Nourish, she enjoys powerlifting, teaching barbell strength classes, and hanging out with her cat, Fin.
Approach to care
Audrey takes a behavior-forward approach with her patients. Our behaviors make up everything we do and are closely intertwined with our mindset. She will use the science of behavior change along with evidence-based nutrition education to help you create life long behaviors that foster a healthy and happy life. In addition, Audrey values a well-rounded approach that highlights all pillars of your wellness. In particular, Audrey is also a personal trainer and will make sure exercise is a big piece of the conversation. Ultimately, Audrey is here to listen and support you in reaching your goals.
Your first session with Audrey
Your first session is all about getting to know each other. My goal is to find out as much about your health and wellness as I possibly can in order to take a personalized approach with your care. Nutrition is a big piece of your health and wellness, but there are other pieces of the puzzle to explore as well. Once I have a better understanding of your goals and the factors that play into your food choices, we will determine a game plan to best support your nutrition moving forward.
