About Avery

Hi there! As a dietitian and doula, empowering women to feel better in their bodies is my jam. I’m certified in fertility & pregnancy nutrition and have special training in women's health, reproductive/hormonal health, and postpartum wellness. I help people overcome period problems including (but not limited to) irregular/missing periods, PCOS, and endometriosis. I also have many years of experience helping folks recover from disordered eating & healing their relationship with food. If you're looking to reach your goals with help from a provider who will partner with you to provide support and clarity every step of the way, we might be a great fit!

Approach to care

My philosophy is centered around creating positive, simple, and sustainable food and lifestyle habits that bring joy and ease to your full life. My clients often leave our sessions feeling like they have a lifestyle cheerleader in their corner, empowering them and empathetically listening to their needs as they navigate making hugely impactful health changes. Everyone deserves to live life eating the foods they enjoy.

Your first session with Avery

In our first session I'll focus on getting to know you as a whole person. Yes, nutrition is my thing, but other health and lifestyle factors are a huge part of our work together. I'll dive deep into understanding your most important health goals, and WHY those goals are so important to you, as this will be the anchor for our work together. You'll gain a clear picture of what our time together will be like and get a sense of the treatment plan I recommend. Most importantly, you'll be given tangible tools to get started transforming your health right away. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling hopeful and empowered for what's to come!
