About Barbara

Hi there! I’m a Registered Dietitian who loves helping people feel better in their bodies and build habits that actually stick. Since becoming an RD in 2019, I’ve supported clients in weight loss, heart health, diabetes management, and more with strategies that fit real life. After losing 60 pounds myself, I know how confusing, emotional, and overwhelming nutrition can feel, and I also know how life-changing it is when you finally find a system that works for you. When I'm not seeing clients, you can find me hanging out with my husband, baking something sweet, or spending time with my two little doggies, Teddy and Peanut!

Approach to care

My approach is science-based but flexible. No detoxes, no extreme rules, no guilt trips. Just tools you can use, even when life gets hectic. I believe any food can be made part of a healthy diet. For example, my favorite food is strawberry cake! My coaching style is supportive and encouraging, with a little humor and a lot of accountability. I want you to feel heard, motivated, and confident as you build habits that last. By the time we are done, you will not just have inspiration. You will have a sustainable plan you can actually live with!

Your first session with Barbara

When we meet for the first time, I take time to really get to know you: your routines, your goals, what’s challenging, and what you’ve already tried. Together, we figure out what is truly getting in the way of your progress. It's rarely just about food. Sometimes it's stress, low energy, hectic schedules, or feeling stuck in all-or-nothing thinking. From there, we create a plan that is simple, personal, and manageable. That might look like meal ideas that feel doable, small adjustments to support heart or blood sugar health, or weight-loss strategies that do not rely on restriction.
