About Barbara
I have 40 years of clinical experience in acute, long term and home care. I am married and the mother of three adult children and one toddler grandson. I feel I have a wide range of experience that can help you achieve your long term goals. I enjoy teaching nutrition and explaining evidence based practices.
Approach to care
I am a good listener, approachable and available as needed. I want to get to know you. What motivates you? What type of learner are you? How can we design a meal plan that integrates your lifestyle? What obstacles do you have that prevent you from obtaining the best outcomes?
Your first session with Barbara
Time to get to know each other, what are your goals? Questions about your work schedule, do you like or have the time to cook and grocery shop? If you are on a tube feeding, how can we simplify the process? Are you on any medications or have recent lab results?
