About Barbara
I have over 10 years of experience in nutrition counseling and diabetes education. I enjoy problem-solving with clients and celebrating their successes. My focus is on simplifying nutrition and making it practical for everyday life. Outside of work, I spend time with my husband, our two young daughters, and our pup.
Approach to care
My goal is for clients to leave each session with clearer direction and more food options than when they arrived. I take time to understand their goals, preferences, eating habits, and the challenges they may face. With this insight, I offer focused, practical guidance and help them build a personalized plan that evolves from one session to the next.
Your first session with Barbara
The first session will be me getting to know you so that we can make a plan for you. Expect me to ask a fair amount of question. It is helpful if you come prepared to discuss your usual food and beverage intake. Maybe keep a food log for a few days prior to.
