About Becca
My passion for nutrition and dietetics started long before I became a dietitian. Throughout high school, I played sports without proper guidance on how to fuel my body. This led to my own struggles with food and health, and it’s these experiences that drive me to help others avoid or recover from similar challenges. Over the past 10 years, I’ve gained extensive experience in psychology, coaching, and teaching/tutoring.
Approach to care
In my master’s programs, I focused on body dissatisfaction (health psychology) and food perception (nutrition). I worked hard to better understand how food and nutrition impact not just the body, but the mind. Through this work, I’ve come to realize that the way we think about food has an enormous impact on how we behave around it—and often, not in a helpful way. It’s not just about changing what you eat, but about changing the way you approach and relate to food mentally. These experiences, both professional and personal, fuel my passion for helping others with their food and nutrition struggles.
Your first session with Becca
I’ve been where you are. I understand the frustration of trying to sift through endless information, just wanting to ‘be healthy’. My goal is to help you break free from the diet cycle and, more importantly, shift your mindset so that you can enjoy food and life without feeling burdened or restricted by them. I want to guide you to a place where food is seen as both nourishment and a source of joy—fueling you for the things you love to do, while also learning to appreciate all the incredible things your body is capable of. My focus areas include intuitive eating, general nutrition, disordered eating, integrative and functional nutrition, holistic nutrition, and sports nutrition. As I continue to grow in this field, I plan to expand these areas to further support individuals in shifting their mindset and building healthier relationships with food.
