About Bethany
Hi! My name is Bethany and I've been passionate about working with patients as a clinical dietitian for the past 15 years. I am a certified specialist in oncology nutrition, and also have expertise to offer on general health, diabetes management, heart health, weight management, and bariatric surgery. I am a strong advocate that nutrition plays a crucial role in overall health and well being. I love what I do and am excited to continue helping others on their nutrition journey.
Approach to care
I take an active approach to care on the concerns that are important to you. We can talk about nutrition goals, meal planning, relationship with food, sleep, and exercise, and other health goals. I like to focus on motivational interviewing to help patients find and attain their goals with a non judgmental appraoch. I take a research oriented approach to assess nutrition needs and provide recommendations
Your first session with Bethany
Our first session is all about you and how I can support you on our nutrition journey. We can talk about your health history, lifestyle, nutrition history and the concerns bringing you to our session. We can work together to set some attainable goals that I can support you with and provide encouragement. I'm looking forward to working together and to helping you reach towards feeling your best!
