About Betsy

Hi! I'm Betsy, a registered dietitian certified diabetes care and education specialist in the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky area. I have Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition. I recently obtained a Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics and Adults. I have over 23 years of experience in nutrition counseling, weight management and diabetes education. I received the 2008 Ohio Young Dietitian of Year award and have been very active in my dietetic community. I am a Mom of 2 amazing sons and a lover of all things cooking, my bichon "Puppy", raccoons, rock painting and football!

Approach to care

I am a big believer that all foods can fit and food can be fun! Together we will work together to help you meet your personal goals. Having struggled with my own weight and body image and not being a cookie cutter dietitian, I have a good understanding of what many of my clients are feeling.

Your first session with Betsy

The first visit is really a time to learn about you. We will work together on a plan to help you meet both your short and long term goals. We will cover the basics of nutrition and macros, calorie goals and meal planning. I am looking forward to getting to know you!
