About Bhavi

Hi, I'm Bhavi. I’m a Registered Dietitian with 20 years of experience and a passion for holistic metabolic health. I earned an MS in Nutrition Science and an MS in Biochemistry, and I’ve worked in clinical hospital settings, private practice, community health programs, and bariatric clinics. I’m also a certified yoga instructor, and I love weaving mindfulness into nutrition care to support lasting change. In my spare time you’ll find me practicing yoga, reading, hiking, or cooking. I’m an RD and LD, and I’m grateful to guide you with science, warmth, and curiosity.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is built on evidence-based science, warmth, and a holistic view of health. We'll collaborate to translate nutrition science into real life habits that fit your life, not the other way around. I approach care with empathy and a nonjudgmental stance, and I emphasize sustainable change over quick fixes. I practice with a HAES informed, weight-neutral lens, focusing on behaviors and well-being rather than numbers. Education is part of the journey, empowering you to make informed choices with confidence.

Your first session with Bhavi

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, establish short-term goals, and review lab work or biometrics to tailor your plan. Think of it as a collaborative conversation, not an exam. You don’t need to have everything figured out yet; we’ll explore what matters most, what has helped or challenged you before, and set 1 or 2 realistic steps to begin. You’ll leave with a clear sense of our path and the support you can rely on.
