About Brannan
I have been a Registered Dietitian for 5 years, which has allowed me to work with many different patient populations. During my time as an undergrad, my passion shifted from helping people lose weight to assisting people to live an active healthy lifestyle. Making changes is not easy, but I know firsthand. Successfully losing over 150 pounds and keeping it off is what fuels me to help others along their journey. I want to celebrate their successes and provide empathy during their setbacks.
Approach to care
My approach to care involves meeting you where you currently are. I want to understand what truly motivates you, what inspires you, and what your "why" is. To this end, I use cognitive behavior therapy and the Stages of Change model to guide patients toward their end goals. I lead all my sessions with empathy and provide a safe space for you to feel welcomed and heard.
Your first session with Brannan
Come prepared to talk about YOU! That's why I am here. I want to know what led you here, what obstacles you are having, and most importantly, what you would like from me as your dietitian. I want to help you set SMART goals and determine what your ultimate "end goal" is. We will also talk about medications, current lifestyle, and any medical conditions that may be hindering you from reaching your goals.
