About Brian

Brian has been a practicing RDN for over 9 years, after previously working as a chef in fine dining restaurants in Philly and New York City. He transitioned to a career in nutrition to better understand the far-reaching effects that food has on our everyday lives. Brian has the upmost respect and admiration for individuals seeking to make health changes; he finds the most joy in designing realistic, individualized plans that align with who they are. When he is not talking about or cooking food, he can be found hanging out with his rescue cats or attempting to prove he is still has game playing tennis. He just moved back to his native Philly after 10 years in Chicago and Minneapolis.

Approach to care

Brian is driven by providing individualized, client-centered care above all, using sustainably-focused approaches with an evidence-based foundation. Any issue is best broken down into approachable, manageable pieces. He likes to have a flexible problem-solving mindset, looking at mutually-agreed upon interventions as experiments to work towards larger goals. Brian is also certified in the low-FODMAP approach to manage IBS, trained via Monash University, which he uses as a tool as indicated.

This is important to ensure that I am the right clinician for your needs, as well as to set a solid foundation and expectations moving forward. We will explore your health history, your current day-to-day world, what is working well, and where you would like to facilitate change. I'm looking forward to meeting you and meaningfully supporting you in your health goals!
