About Brian

I'm a Registered Dietitian working in the greater Philadelphia area. I help clients improve their health through sustainable dietary changes and a better understanding of their unique nutritional needs. I received my bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from West Chester University. During this time, I focused on chronic disease management and had a particular interest in the treatment of food sensitivities and gastrointestinal conditions. I went on to pursue a master’s in public health with a concentration in nutrition at West Chester University. My time in graduate school helped me to better understand the social, economic, and environmental factors that impact a person’s food choices and overall health. Before starting my private practice, I worked as a research dietitian for the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). My work as a research dietitian focused on behavior change and weight management.

Approach to care

With my background in nutrition research and community health, I combine evidence-based strategies with a compassionate, client-centered approach. I specialize in chronic disease management, gastrointestinal conditions, and nutrition behavior therapy. I help clients improve their health by making a change, one meal at a time

Your first session with Brian

During the first session I assess your eating habits, health history, and nutrition priorities. We develop an initial nutrition plan and set nutrition goals together. Your initial nutrition plan and goals are based on your unique dietary needs and preferences. I will also provide nutrition education as needed. By the end of the session you have clear steps to take moving forward.
