About Briana

Hi, I’m Briana. I’m a Registered Dietitian with an MS in Nutrition from the University of Texas. In four years of practice, I’ve worked in clinical and hospital teams and in research and academia. I’m guided by evidence and a genuine curiosity about how nutrition fits into real life. I translate science into practical steps that feel doable, respectful of your values, and tailored to your pace. I’m glad you’re here, and I’ll meet you where you are.

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends evidence-based guidance with empathy and clarity. I’ll share the why behind recommendations and we’ll decide together what fits your life. I work with a direct, action-oriented mindset, setting concrete steps that build confidence over time. I embrace a weight-neutral, HAES-informed perspective and focus on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. My approach is holistic, honoring your mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and I’ll educate you so you feel empowered to make informed choices.

Your first session with Briana

Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics to understand where you are today. I’ll listen without judgment and invite questions so you feel heard. We’ll talk about your goals, daily routines, and any barriers you’ve encountered. By the end, we’ll agree on 1–2 realistic steps to begin, with a plan you feel capable of sustaining. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet; we’ll figure it out together.
