About Briana
Hi, I’m Briana! I’m a Registered Dietitian and Eating Disorder Specialist who helps heal their relationship with food and their bodies, while supporting their overall health. I work with individuals navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic conditions such as prediabetes, diabetes, and PCOS. My approach blends evidence-based medical nutrition therapy with a compassionate, weight-neutral framework to support both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Approach to care
I utilize Intuitive Eating and a weight neutral approach, emphasizing that health can be achieved without focusing on weight or body size. My role is to empower and support sustainable habits and flexible nutrition strategies that fit into your life. We’ll work toward building confidence and peace in your relationship with food and your body. My approach acknowledges the complex interplay between food, emotions, and past experiences. This involves utilizing diverse counseling techniques to help clients gain insight into their interactions with food, movement, and body image. Through a trauma-informed lens, I aim to create a safe space to explore these connections and develop sustainable nourishment goals. My approach to nutrition therapy focuses on food, movement, and body image within my scope of practice. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to client care.
Your first session with Briana
The initial nutrition assessment will focus on gathering information about your medical history, current challenges, and goals. Together, we’ll create a personalized nutrition plan that fits your needs and supports both your physical health and your relationship with food.
