About Brianna
I am currently 8 years into my career as a Dietitian. Pre Dietitian days, I worked as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehab and on the cardiac unit. I saw many patients that could have prevented their diseases with lifestyle and nutrition interventions, which sparked my interest to become a Dietitian. Even though I knew the preventative side of health care was my calling, I decided to go the clinical route in the beginning of my Dietitian career, wanting to know how to care for the sickest of the sick. I became an ICU Dietitian for 4 years and then a renal Dietitian. However, 3 years ago, I felt I was finally ready to serve those in the preventative setting and I couldn't be happier!
Approach to care
You and I are a team! I am the nutrition expert and you are the expert on your life and what works for you. I always want to find the happy medium that will get you to your goals! I am also the Dietitian that will support you with kindness mixed with a little bit of tough love if needed.
Your first session with Brianna
Lots of questions from me to you. I will have reviewed your initial nutrition assessment form but I wanna know all about who you are, what you're struggling with and what your goals are. I will also provide a brief overview of the path I think is most appropriate for you. We will aim to set some initial goals at the end of our session so we can get the ball rolling right away!
