About Brianna
I am an overachiever, earning dual degrees from the University of Florida: Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Bachelor of Arts in English and then went on to complete my master's degree in food science at the University of Florida. My passions are working with patients with diabetes, kidney diseases, breastfeeding/pregnant/postpartum moms and heart patients. My father was a long-time diabetic who developed kidney disease. I worked with him on a diet to delay his need to start dialysis, which is why these medical conditions are passions of mine. Helping moms is another passion as I have three girls myself and more than 6 years of breastfeeding experience. I am a Florida licensed and registered dietitian, earning my degrees at the University of Florida and my RD certification in 2011. I have worked with children, adults and older patients, in schools, personal/home settings and hospitals. I love to help people and I love to talk about food, so this is the perfect career for me.
Approach to care
Hi, Iβm Brianna! So excited to meet you and discuss your nutritional needs. In our session, I will actively listen to your goals, nutrition background, weight history and other facets to have a comprehensive understanding of your current situation and where you want to be in the future. We will work collaboratively to set attainable steps to reach your goals within a reasonable time frame. I will provide the support and resources you need to be successful.
Your first session with Brianna
We will spend time discussing your background, goals and setting some initial steps to meet the goals that are reasonable and attainable. Small choices each day add up over time. I chose to become a dietitian because food is love, yet not everyone understands how food is also medicine and eating well can be more powerful and impactful.

Hobbies
I have three beautiful girls, who I spend most of my free time with playing outside, going on adventures and doing activities they enjoy. When I do have a few moments for myself, I enjoy reading a good book or watching a movie. I work out each morning before the house wakes up to ensure I am at my best for my family.
