About Bridget

Hi, I'm Bridget! With 25 years practicing as a Registered Dietitian, I bring a depth of experience and empathy to help you navigate food and health with confidence. I enjoy turning complex nutrition ideas into practical, sustainable habits and I'm here to guide you without judgment, every step of the way. I have extensive experience helping individuals with diabetes getting their blood sugar levels into target ranges without restrictions. As a certified oncology nutrition specialist (CSO), I also have enjoyed assisting patients experiencing cancer diagnosis to eat well throughout treatments and beyond. Outside of work, I love spending time with my kids, family, and friends and getting outdoors!

Approach to care

My care philosophy is grounded in science and I stay committed to researching and understanding new trends. I believe nutrition advice should be evidence-based, but delivered in a warm, collaborative way that respects your goals, your life, and your pace. I work with you to translate complex nutrition science into simple, sustainable steps, avoiding quick fixes or diet culture. I practice with a weight-neutral, Health at Every Size mindset, focusing on behaviors that support long-term health and wellbeing. We'll explore the things that affect your choices, from foods to activities, and I'll share clear, actionable plans so you feel confident moving forward.

Your first session with Bridget

Our first appointment is a gentle, collaborative conversation. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you've had done. I will listen to your goals, and talk about what short-term steps might fit your lifestyle. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet; we'll co-create a simple plan that fits your routine and values. We'll outline how we will work together to set realistic targets, track progress, and adjust as needed, with empathy and support every step of the way.
