About Bridget
My mother is a Registered Nurse, so I grew up with an interest in nutrition, and have now been a Registered Dietitian since 2012. I began my career as a clinical dietitian in a hospital, then worked a few years in dialysis before reaching my true passion: one-one-one counseling. I truly believe "food is medicine," and it's amazing how we can heal our bodies with food.
Approach to care
I have a very down-to-Earth, patient-centered, and practical approach to nutrition. Food is a huge part of our lives, and "Every Body is different " (I always say). Being a yoga teacher, most find my vibe very calming. Nutrition can be complex and confusing, but that's where a dietitian comes in - to help bust myths and follow the science. This is a judgement-free zone. Every dietitian will tell you, "Everything in moderation" and there are no 'bad' foods.
Your first session with Bridget
In our first session, we will get to know one another a little bit, and go over your health history, lifestyle, and eating habits. Together we will create realistic, personalized goals to work on to feel and be your best self, and make a plan for accountability.
