About Brita
God has intricately designed our bodies with the capacity to heal, adapt, and thrive when properly nourished. I would be honored to walk alongside you as we work together to support your health through intentional, whole-person nutrition. I take a holistic, root-cause approach to nutrition, looking beyond symptoms to understand whatâs truly driving how you feel. I view food as powerful information that influences digestion, hormones, metabolism, energy, and mental clarity. As a former Division I track and field athlete, I understand firsthand the importance of proper fueling not only for performance, but for long-term health and resilience.
Approach to care
My goal is to empower you with education, practical tools, and confidence so you can make informed decisions about your health. My approach is personalized, evidence-based, and collaborative. I take time to understand your full health picture; including medical history, nutrition patterns, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and environmentâto identify patterns and root contributors impacting your health. Rather than a one-size-fits-all plan, I create individualized strategies centered on whole foods, nutrient adequacy, blood sugar balance, gut health, and metabolic support. I prioritize realistic, sustainable changes and believe lasting progress comes from consistency, not perfection. You can expect clear education, transparent explanations of the âwhyâ behind recommendations, and ongoing support as we adjust your plan based on your bodyâs response over time.
Your first session with Brita
Your first session is a comprehensive deep dive into your health. Prior to our visit, youâll complete an in-depth intake form that allows me to review your history and concerns in advance. During the session, we will: 1. Review your health goals and top concerns 2. Discuss key findings from your intake, symptoms, and patterns 3. Explore nutrition, lifestyle, and stress factors impacting your health 4. Begin identifying potential root causes 5. Establish clear, realistic priorities moving forward. Youâll leave the first session with a clear understanding of next steps, initial nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, and a plan for follow-up support. This session is designed to create clarity, build trust, and set the foundation for meaningful, sustainable change.
