About Britney
Hello! My name is Britney, a registered dietitian, and I would be honored to be your nutrition counselor and advocate! These days, cultivating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a challenge. Busy schedules, body image struggles, or simply struggling to tend to basic self-care needs are all valid challenges many face when striving for optimal well-being. I aim to provide you with sufficient education and optimism, along with continuous support throughout your journey to better health and maintenance!
Approach to care
With a background in psychology, I integrate mindfulness and intuitive eating with evidence-based nutrition education and therapy. My approach also involves patience and empathy. Understanding that integrating changes (whether big or small!) into one's lifestyle is a journey, I will meet you where you are at.
Your first session with Britney
What to expect in your first session: We will discuss your reasons for seeking nutrition counseling and your goals, and what you hope to change or improve. We will also review your medical and dietary history, current lifestyle, and eating habits. The information you provide will serve as the foundation for creating a personalized plan and will help establish realistic goals. You will have ample opportunities to ask questions at any time, and we will proceed from there!
