About Brittany

Welcome! My name is Brittany and I have been a registered dietitian for 8 years. I began my career in the hospital setting, where I learned a lot about how nutrition plays a very large role in not just preventing chronic diseases but living with a chronic disease as well. I have done a lot of work in the oncology space working with both individuals going through active treatment and individuals navigating their time following treatment. This really has allowed me to finetune my skills with not only intentional weight gain, but with intentional weight loss as well. I am very passionate about the role nutrition plays in our lives whether you are managing a new diagnosis or just looking to optimize your health. My holistic training as a health coach strengthens my ability to navigate the entirety of your health journey focusing on your sleep, stress, and movement in addition to your eating patterns. Because these all play an important role in reaching your health goals after all!

Approach to care

My approach to care is all about collaboration. I want to ensure I am meeting you where you are at and have a strong understanding of what your ultimate goals are while working with a dietitian. I aim to discover an approach that truly does resonate with you, and feels realistic and sustainable for the long-term. We are here to create healthy habits together. I aim to learn your preferences and curiosities, so we can figure out how to optimize your health by adding things into your day-to-day instead of taking away things you enjoy. I am happy to share science-based recommendations and resources based on your questions that do not feeling overwhelming. But we will also take the time to navigate your health in entirety to learn how sleep, stress, and movement can factor into your health goals. Pretty much think of me as your accountability partner with some answers and tips, and not the food police. No wild diet suggestions here!

Your first session with Brittany

Our first session will be all about getting to know each other. I do very much value learning what a typical day looks like for you and what your preferences are in terms of nutrition and movement. You can expect some questions on your sleep patterns and your current stress levels as well. I will always prioritize time to answer any questions you may have for me and to ensure you are walking away with a good understanding of the role I will play in your health journey as your dietitian. We will then set up some small, action-oriented goals we can build upon to work towards your larger health-oriented goals.
