“Awesome to have 60 minutes, great agenda of questions, liked the concrete plan we made and timely follow up. She was very kind and empathetic and was paying close attention to what I was saying“
“Very kind and helpful. Educational and did not feel judged“
“Brittany knows what she's talking about!! I LOVE how informed she is and I loved that she had new things to bring to our meeting to help my daughter. She is truly a team player and wants to work with me as the parent and my daughter's doctor to best support her.“
About Brittany
Brittany is a Registered Dietitian specializing in eating disorders and gastrointestinal conditions, with a strong background in mental health–informed nutrition care. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she graduated summa cum laude from Dominican University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and completed her dietetic training at The Ohio State University. She has over five years of experience working as both inpatient and outpatient dietitian across medical and mental health settings. Much of Brittany’s career has been spent in the mental health field, shaping her compassionate, trauma-informed approach to nutrition counseling. She is committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where individuals of all identities and backgrounds feel safe, respected, and supported.
Approach to care
Brittany practices from a Health at Every Size® (HAES)-aligned, intuitive eating framework, supporting clients in improving their relationship with food without rigid rules, calorie tracking, or unnecessary restriction. She emphasizes a nutrition-by-addition mindset, using a flexible plate method that prioritizes nourishment, satisfaction, and sustainability over strict diets. She believes that fueling our bodies with good nutrition should not only be realistic but fun as well. Her work is grounded in body respect and body neutrality, and she is comfortable supporting body image concerns in a compassionate, non-judgmental way. For gastrointestinal health, Brittany focuses on managing symptoms using the least restrictive approach possible, helping clients preserve food variety and quality of life. She incorporates gut–brain and nervous system–informed care, recognizing that the body must feel safe for healing to occur in both eating disorder and GI work.
Your first session with Brittany
During the first session, the time will be spent learning all about YOU. This is an inclusive, affirming space for individuals. Brittany recognizes that many clients arrive after difficult experiences with weight-centric or diet-focused care. Her work intentionally moves away from these models, offering a supportive and safe space.
