About Brittany
Hi, I’m Brittany, a Michigan-based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), as well as a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). I have over 8 years of experience with backgrounds in clinical dietetics and corporate wellness coaching/nutrition counseling covering a wide range of nutritional concerns; weight management, heart health, diabetes management, and exercise/fitness coaching.
Approach to care
Since I’m a NBC-HWC, as well as a RDN, I offer a unique approach to working with patients to improve their health goals by making an impactful, personalized connection to ensure I am meeting individuals where they are at in their wellness journey! I encourage gradual improvements that feel doable for you and can lead to long-term consistent and sustainable changes. I am well equipped to offer this support, as I have advanced training in counseling methods for behavior change and will help you learn both what to change and how to change in a way that feels less overwhelming and more achievable.
Your first session with Brittany
I like to take the time to get to know you as a whole person and not just your health, before we start your wellness journey together! You can expect an open, non-judgmental space when working with me to share your needs and desires to improve overall wellness. I love to hear about what is currently going well for you, nutritionally, as we all are making great strides already, and discuss room for improvement, since being human, we all (including myself), have some room for improvement when it comes to our nutrition. We’ll discuss your future goals, current eating habits, health history, and past experiences that have influenced your relationship with food. From there, we’ll create a clear, personalized plan to lay the groundwork for long-term success. You'll leave the session with at least 1-2 things to work on until our next session, when we can make realistic, attainable adjustments, as needed. I look forward to meeting and supporting you with reaching your health goals!
