About Brooke
Brooke channels her expertise to empower individuals on their journey toward improved relationships with food and health. Brooke’s background includes years of experience in an eating disorder treatment center, working at all levels of care. Before she jumped all into the outpatient world, Brooke also provided outpatient nutrition counseling with a general health focus. Originally from upstate New York, she now calls Denver, Colorado, home. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds joy in spending time outdoors with family, friends, and her dog, Taco. In both her personal and professional life, Brooke embodies a holistic perspective on health, emphasizing balance and connection.
Approach to care
Brooke embraces a non-judgemental, holistic approach to care that extends beyond conventional nutrition advice. Grounded in the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES), she aims to help individuals build a more fulfilled life free from the constraints of food guilt. Brooke believes in making the journey toward better health enjoyable, infusing sessions with a sense of fun and collaboration. Her unique perspective centers on improving overall well-being by addressing the relationship with food, laying the foundation for sustainable changes. Your first session with Brooke
In your first session, Brooke spends time getting to know each other. Brooke understands that relationships with food can be challenging and strives to create a safe space for you to explore yours. Brooke gathers your health and nutrition history, delves into long-term goals, and explores what you hope to achieve through nutrition counseling. She takes a keen interest in understanding your lifestyle to best support you as a whole person. The session concludes by collaboratively discussing ideas for your long-term nutrition journey and scheduling your next session.
