About Brooke
Hi, I’m Brooke. I’m a registered dietitian based in Baton Rouge with three years of experience helping people build healthier relationships with food. I earned my BS in Dietetics at LSU and my Master’s in Nutritional Sciences from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, and I’m credentialed as an RD and LDN. In my work across clinical settings, community health programs, and research projects, I’ve learned that real change happens when we combine science with compassion. When I’m not at the desk, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking or baking, on the beach volleyball court, exploring nutrition policy, or cheering for my two daughters. I value balance, curiosity, and the everyday moments that keep wellness sustainable.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is simple: I listen first, then we act together. I ground every plan in current research and proven strategies, but I center your life, values, and goals so what we do fits your day to day. I practice with warmth and empathy, providing a nonjudgmental space where you can explore your relationship with food, body, and health. I embrace Health At Every Size and a weight-inclusive approach, focusing on sustainable habits rather than diets. We’ll address sleep, stress, and nourishment as a whole, and I’ll educate you along the way so you feel confident to make informed choices that last.
Your first session with Brooke
Our first visit is all about you. We’ll review your medical history and current lab work or biometrics, talk through your short-term goals, and take a deep dive into your relationship with food. There’s no pressure here and no need to have everything figured out in advance. I’ll welcome your questions and concerns, and together we’ll set one or two realistic goals to start. Expect a warm, collaborative conversation that respects where you are today while laying a clear path for the next steps we’ll take together.
