About Brooklyn
Hi, I’m Brooklyn. I’m a Registered Dietitian with two and a half years of experience, I’ve built a foundation through a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from Seattle Pacific University and postgraduate coursework at Cox College, with 1200+ supervised practical hours, before passing my national board exams. I’ve trained across clinical and hospital settings, private practice, and sports nutrition, working with a wide variety of patients. I’m grateful every day for the chance to help people feel more confident around food. When I’m not working, you’ll find me running, skiing, sipping on an iced latte, or petting dogs (I'm a major animal lover). I’m excited to meet you and start working together.
Approach to care
My care philosophy combines evidence-based practice with a warm, collaborative approach. I stay grounded in current research and translate it into simple, practical steps you can act on. I meet you with empathy and without judgment, and we’ll work together to build healthy habits that fit your life. I focus on a food-neutral perspective and focus on sustainable behavior change rather than quick fixes. I consider the whole person, including stress, sleep, and daily routines, then cater specific plans to each individual so you feel confident and capable.
Your first session with Brooklyn
Think of our first appointment as a conversation, rather than an evaluation. Our time together will start with your story: medical history, current goals, lab work or biometrics, and how you relate to food day to day. We’ll identify small, realistic steps and set short-term goals that feel doable. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet, our aim is clarity and momentum. We’ll leave with a practical plan and a path you can begin this week, plus a sense that you have a partner in your nutrition journey.
