About Callie

Hello! My name is Callie and I have been a Registered Dietitian for the past 6 years. I decided to pursue a career in nutrition to help people improve the quality of their lives through healthy lifestyles and food choices. I enjoy working with people of all different backgrounds to show that receiving good nutrition is doable for everyone, even though it looks different for each person. Nutrition is not one size fits all and my goal is to help you build healthy nutrition related habits and patterns that serve you. Throughout my career, I have worked across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric. I began in pediatrics, primarily working with weight management, diabetes, and food allergies. Since then, I have worked with the veteran population in areas such as weight management, renal disease, diabetes, substance abuse, and long-term care. These experiences have allowed me to gain a solid educational and practical foundation in a variety of nutrition related conditions and concerns.

Approach to care

I value honesty and improving your confidence in your food and lifestyle choices. My goal is to be supportive and help you find the motivation within yourself to continue to build upon healthy habits each day. While a small part of nutrition is the education, the majority is how that education works into your daily life. My approach is help you build a nutrition plan that reduces barriers and simplifies the ability to improve your health through nutrition. Nutrition is a journey and lifestyle change is hard. However, it can also be extremely rewarding. My mission is to empower you to improve your nutrition by providing knowledge and insight into current nutrition related literature and guidelines to make the best, most informed, decisions for yourself and family. I will meet you where you are at and give you the tools you need to be successful and meet your goals!

Your first session with Callie

The first session will begin with your highest nutrition priorities and what you would like to focus on. I will go over your current dietary habits and barriers. Then together we will formulate a plan to help you reach your long-term and short-term goals.
