About Cameron
I am a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer. I have been married to my husband, Will, for 20 years and we have four children. I love to work out and am very interested in the study of longevity. I have worked with diverse patients over the years, including pediatrics, Diabetes management patients, weight loss surgery patients, wound care patients, and weight loss/gain. I have a solid understanding of cancer nutrition and food allergies. Recently, I have been learning more about nutrition related to peri- and menopause.
Approach to care
One size does not fit all when it comes to nutrition. I will work with you and your lifestyle to come up with a nutrition plan that is sustainable. Whether you want to count macros or get more healthy meal ideas, I will cater to your needs. I will start out with a 2-5 day food recall, so I can assess how you currently eat. I will also do a health history, as well as understand how much you are moving your body. Having 4 children and a busy life myself, I understand that you probably aren't going to spend hours a day on your health.
Your first session with Cameron
In your first session, I will get to know you and what your life involves. I will try to understand how you currently eat, what your health issues are, and how we can improve your health and reach your goals. I will start out with a 2-5 day food recall, so I can assess how you currently eat. I will also do a health history, as well as understand how much you are moving your body. I will also want to know what fluids you are drinking each day and how much.
